Our client is a family business, active in the construction sector. They are currently looking for a:
Payroll Officer
Function
- Ensuring correct and timely processing of payroll administration for workers within your assigned joint committees.
- More specifically, you are responsible for complete payroll processing (preparation, calculation and verification of all wage and salary data).
- Learning about the social-legal actuality and acting proactively in this respect in case of certain changes.
- First point of contact regarding social legislation, payroll administration and payroll for workers, managers and HR.
- Contributing to the retention policy, discussing action points with the manager, HR BP or HR Director.
- Responsible for on- and offboarding: drafting employment contract, welcoming, processing personnel data, etc.
- Support in general administrative follow-up from A to Z and internal reporting on a frequent basis.
Profile
- Education in payroll, HR or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Customer Manager, Payroll Officer or similar position.
- Good knowledge of social legislation.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Accurate and structured working method.
- Good communication skills.
- A proactive and customer-oriented attitude.
