Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and manage their U.S. operations, driving continued success in this strategic market.
Function
- Manage all operational aspects of the U.S. business, ensuring efficient processes and optimal performance across departments.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement strategies that align with the company’s vision and growth targets in the U.S. market.
- Lead and optimize supply chain operations, including logistics, procurement, and production, to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective operations.
- Supervise recruitment, development, and performance of the local team.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. regulations, industry standards and internal policies.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and expansion in the market.
- Act as a liaison between the U.S. branch and the Belgian headquarters, promoting strong communication and collaboration between teams in different regions.
Profile
- Masters’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in senior operations management roles, with proven experience in leading teams within a European or international company.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of driving operational improvements.
- Familiarity with working in a family-owned business environment, understanding the values, and ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and mission.
- Fluency in English and Dutch is required. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- Willingness to travel between the U.S. and Belgium, as needed.
