Function

• You play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and streamlined supply chain, from the point of procurement to the distribution of their products.
• Lead and manage logistics team to achieve and exceed targets.
• Coordinate the entire SC processes, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
• Optimise logistics processes to reduce costs, increase quality and improve efficiency.
• Ensure accurate inventory recording and control.
• Coordinate inventories and analyse stock levels.
• Manage transport activities, including planning routes and coordinating deliveries.
• Working with transport partners to find cost-effective solutions.
• Compliance with legal requirements and regulations related to logistics and distribution.
• Implement procedures to ensure product integrity.
• Translating strategic decisions into operational actions.

Profile

• Master's degree with focus on logistics, supply chain or operations processes.
• Demonstrable leadership experience within logistics, warehousing, transportation or supply chain, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Thorough knowledge of logistics software and systems such as ERP and WMS
• Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality.
