Our client is a leading, large company offering advanced solutions within an industrial, engineering environment across the EU & USA. The company offers global access to specialised equipment thanks to their historical expertise. Since 2021, the company has been operating as a fully independent family-owned business, having been part of a larger group for many years.
We currently have a key vacancy for an experienced and qualified (m/f):
IT Manager
(min. 15 years' experience/ West Flanders)

Function

• Develop and refine IT strategy in close cooperation with management.
• Ensuring that software, systems and processes are optimally aligned with the company's growth.
• Managing the various, streamlined IT departments (160 people).
• Optimising/ and a strong focus on the new platform (ERP Dynamics 365).
• Further building an integrated, coherent organisation and IT architecture.
• Organising and leading the IT team, including recruiting, developing and retaining talent.
• Effectively deploy resources to meet changing business needs.
• Report to the CFO and actively contribute to decision-making within the company.

Profile

• Master's degree and extensive experience and track record as an IT Manager.
• Reliable, knowledgeable sparring partner, with a keen understanding of technology as business operations.
• Able to inspire, motivate and challenge your team to work together on innovation.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate goals into concrete IT solutions.
• Proficient in leading, directing and mentoring a team of 160 professionals.
• Excellent N-E language skills, which is essential for communication at an international level.
• Work location is South-West Flanders and willing to travel internationally 20% of your time.
