Procurement Manager

Our client, a leading company in the Mouscron region, has a rich history of over 100 years in manufacturing high-quality products. Rooted in tradition and innovation, this family-run business is expanding and is now looking for a passionate Procurement Manager (m/f) to join the team.

Function

• Take full responsibility for all procurement activities, products and services.
• Negotiate agreements, draft contracts and manage tenders.
• Translate strategic choices into tactical and operational decisions.
• Coordinate and evaluate procurement activities for the organisation.
• Develop strong relationships with commercial stakeholders and supplier partners.
• Identify improvement areas to continuously improve performance and business results.
• Understand market trends and their impact on purchasing and procurement policies.
• Lead a team of buyers and delegate tasks between departments as needed.

Profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management.
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
• Leadership experience and ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent networking skills to build lasting relationships.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
